Alan Garcia Alan Agustin Garcia’s mission is to be H.I.G.H. (Healthy, Independent, a Good person and Happy.)A data engineer and architect who launched his career 20-plus years ago during the dotcom era, Alan brings to LT a strong skillset in Enterprise data strategy, management, and integration. Before joining the trust, he worked in the healthcare industry as a senior director of enterprise data architecture; he also owned and led the development, implementation and maintenance of a call-center application for several years.Alan holds a Business Degree focused on Management Information Systems from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and is a product of the public school system in Kāneʻohe’s Castle High School. Working at LT allows him to collaborate and innovate with driven, talented team members whose mission is to support beneficiaries of Queen Liliʻuokalani’s trust. On his days off, Alan can be found in the water, stand-up paddling—or “doing anything outdoors.” He and his wife are proud parents of two adult men, and two adopted dogs, Lilo and Stitch. He also has fun-loving nephews and nieces who call him their, “Uncle Alan Awesome.”
