Dawn Harflinger, Manager
Dawn first joined the organization in February 2005 as fiscal manager for the Queen Lili`uokalani Children’s Center. In October 2006, she transitioned to the endowment group where she is currently the Manager of Finance and Investments. She is responsible for the day-to-day management of the investment portfolio including manager due diligence, performance monitoring, asset allocation, and investment policy. She is also involved with the Trust’s financial reporting, audits, and probate court filings. She currently serves on the Urban Land Institute Young Leader executive committee.
Dawn was born and raised on Oahu’s west coast and also lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 12 years. She graduated from Pacific University with a BA in accounting and literature. She returned to the islands to raise her four children in the native culture and to be closer to ʻohana. Dawn spends all of her free time outdoors with her children who have grown accustomed to swimming in the ocean each night before dinner.
