Hileka Lyons

As a Program Associate, Hileka Kaleionālani Lyons is honored to support ʻōpio and their ʻohana at Kīpuka Maui.

Working for the trust allows Hileka to pay it forward and serve her lāhui, as she, too, was a beneficiary of LT when she was a young parent.

“The heart of our Queen for her people still goes strong today in 2024,” Hileka says.

Hileka carries a strong and diverse skillset. Before joining LT, she worked in insurance, events coordination, administration and admissions.

What is even stronger is Hileka's victory over cancer. After battling the disease for two years, she is in remission. “All the glory to God,” she says. “God performed a miracle in my life, and therefore, my personal mission is to live each day as if it is a miracle to be alive and to live strong for Jesus while being the extension of the love of God to all.”

Surviving cancer has taught Hileka to cherish every day with her husband, son, friends and extended family. During free moments, she enjoys leisurely drives to upcountry Maui, visiting the kahakai and spending precious time with her nieces and nephews.
