Jennison "Kai" Birdsall Kai was born and raised in Kailua on Oʻahu but relocated to Hawaiʻi Island in 1999. She obtained a BA in Psychology from UH Hilo and is currently in the distance education MSW program at UH Mānoa. Married to her high school sweetheart since 2002, Kai and her husband have two amazing sons, along with two dogs and one cat. In her free time, she loves spending time at the beach with her family and working on her house. Social work is Kai’s heart and soul and she served in many different capacities before joining LT. From direct services, quality assurance & training and care coordination, she has done it all and loved it all. Doing her practicum at LT Ranch is a serendipitous experience for Kai. Seeing the ʻōpio grow and learn has renewed her passion for working with and helping kamaliʻi.Kai is grateful and honored for the opportunity to represent the Queen and fulfill LT’s powerful mission as a member of the outstanding, dedicated, and knowledgeable team at LT Ranch.
