Joseph "Kepa" Revelle

As a college student at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo, Joseph "Kepa" Kahelemeakua Revelle once served as a peer mentor for programs at Liliʻuokalani Trust.

Now, armed with dual Bachelor’s degrees in Hawaiian History and Hawaiian Studies, Kepa is a Youth Development Specialist for LT’s Kīpuka Kona.

He feels right at home working with kamaliʻi in the Queen's Jubilee and Project Mohala programs and is honored to serve his own community and lāhui. Joseph is extremely passionate about Hawaiian history, language, culture, and everything related to ʻāina mauka and makai.

Music—another passion ignited as a youth—is a component that Kepa incorporates into LT’s programming. He strives to bring a lāhui and ʻāina consciousness into the programs, so that kamaliʻi connect to their culture and develop into future leaders of Hawaiʻi.
