Keiki Akau

Keiki spent the majority of her younger days on the softball field.

Prior to her softball career, she enjoyed dancing hula for Halau Hula Olana and later continued dancing at her high school, Mid-Pacific Institute, under Kumu Michael Casupang.

Keiki graduated from Mid-Pacific in 2012 after leading her team to win two state championship titles during her junior and senior year. She continued her softball career and education at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa, where she played for four years as a Rainbow Wahine. In 2016, she graduated from UH with a Bachelor's of Science in Family Resource Management/Human Development.

Keiki is a true “people person” – She aspires to be a part of a team that works to serve others.

She continues in her passion for softball and giving back to the community by helping coach the Maryknoll varsity softball team. In her spare time, you will find Keiki reading a book, enjoying some sun at the beach, hiking, or spending time with family and friends.
