Landon Chinen Landon Chinen earned his Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University, concentrating his capstone on amplifying Indigenous youth voices through the support of Western frameworks. This significant work led to his nomination for the DEIPAR (Diversity, Equity, Intersectionality, Inclusion, Power, Anti-Racism) Award for Social Justice and Innovation in Social Work.As the Manager of Youth Leadership at LT, he motivates the next generation to believe in themselves and their ability to achieve their dreams. Driven by a commitment to empower youth, Landon creates spaces where they can share their ideas and actively participate in decision-making. His mentorship extends beyond Hawaiʻi, impacting young adults globally.
