Cynthia Chun

Cynthia is a Mānoa girl, born and raised in Mānoa valley on Oʻahu.

She is also a successful product of the Hawaiʻi public school system.  She went from Roosevelt High School to Pomona College in California, and then back to Honolulu for her MBA from UH Mānoa.

Cyn comes to the Trust via a long and varied career path. Most recently, she was with the Hawaiʻi Department of Education where she was a project manager in the Office of Human Resources and a director in the Office of IT Services.

She is married and the proud parent of two millenials, a son and a daughter; a psycho cat named CC who is both too smart for his own good, and puppy sitter for her daughter’s eight-week-old Australian Shepard, Koa.

In her spare time, Cyn likes to read, travel, and enjoy volleyball.  She has been a diehard fan of UH volleyball, both men’s and women’s, since the old sweaty Klum Gym days. She also speaks fluent Japanese.  Can't read the instructions on the back of that Japanese sauce box?  Bring it to Cyn!

She is honored to be a member of an amazing team that keeps the spirit and mission of the Queen alive and well.
