
Summer Rose Kaeka-Mau

The Trust welcomed Summer Rose Kaeka-Mau to its ‘ohana in August 2006. Summer has brought with her a strong work ethic and dedication to the Queen’s mission. Prior to joining the Trust, Summer worked at Handicabs Inc. and Homeowners Design Center.
Summer was raised in Palolo Valley in the middle of the Ka‘au Crater with her large family. She attended Kaimuki High School and played softball for several years. She also discovered her love of the stage at a young age. Since the age of 13, she has danced hula as well as participated in the stage performances of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves in 1997 and Wha’sup Fables in 1998. Summer has competed in many pageants, including the 1999 Miss Aloha Teen in which she garnered first runner-up and the title of Miss Congeniality.
Summer resides in Punahou with her fiancé. She enjoys spending her free time with her nieces and nephews and strives to serve as a positive role model in their lives. Summer is also continuing her education at Honolulu Community College. She is also a notary public.
