J. Welina Mahiai-Paleka Jamie "Welina"Okealoha Mahiai-Paleka is the daughter of Kimo and Keala Paleka. She was born and raised on the island of Molokai, attended Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus as a boarding student, and graduated in 2015. Welina now resides back on her home island and is enrolled at the Molokai Education Center to continue her education and obtain acceptance into the BSW Program. She has a brilliant young daughter who brings the laughter, joy and light into her life. Her amazing other half is loving, patient, and willing to support Welina and all her crazy ideas. The two are her everything and the reason she pushes to be the best version of herself. Welina believes in giving back to her community and feels a sense of accomplishment by working at LT.
