Jaysha Alonzo-Estrada Jaysha was born and raised in Hilo on the island of Hawai'i. Growing up, she enjoyed playing sports and taking care of her various animals. She graduated from Kamehameha Schools Hawai’i in 2015 and Stanford University in 2019 with a degree in Human Biology. Going to community events, Jaysha would often see a Liliʻuokalani Trust booth with people engaging in conversation with others walking by. It wasn’t until interning at LT for two summers in college did she learn about their contributions to uplifting Native Hawaiians.She is passionate about addressing economic poverty and wellbeing in the state. It is organizations like these that inspire Jaysha to do community and public service which, she says, is why she wanted to work with Liliʻuokalani Trust.
