Richard "Likeke" Teanio Jr. Likeke is a trained and qualified clinician who holds an advanced degree in Marriage & Family Therapy, and also maintains a State of Hawaiʻi certificate as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Likeke has been working in the behavioral health field for 20 years in various settings, both administratively and clinically with specialty populations. His work integrates cognitive behavioral approaches with culturally relevant practices, for the purpose of breaking down western concepts into culturally applicable terms and experiences. He has been involved in creating and implementing cultural programs that have demonstrated statistical significance with respect to effectiveness.
